Abrenews Kolkata: West Bengal ministers Farhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee were taken to the CBI office in Kolkata on Monday in connection with the Narada sting operation.  Officials told about this.

 He said that under investigation, senior Trinamool Congress leader and MLA Cabinet Minister Firhad Hakim, Cabinet Minister Subrata Mukherjee, TMC MLA Madan Mitra and former BJP leader Sowan Chatterjee were taken to the office of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) at Nizam Palace.  Officials said a CBI team along with central forces reached Hakim's Chetla residence on Monday morning and took him to the investigating agency's office.  Please tell that during this time the CBI office has also reached Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

 The state's Transport and Housing Minister Hakim claimed, "The CBI has arrested me in the Narada case."  We will take the matter to court. "Governor Jagdeep Dhankar recently approved prosecution against senior Trinamool Congress leaders, including Hakim, Mitra and Mukherjee.

 Know what is the case of Narada

 It is noteworthy that Narada sting tapes were made public before the 2016 assembly elections in West Bengal.  In which it was claimed that this tape was recorded in the year 2014.  The tape featured individuals who looked like TMC ministers, MPs and MLAs, allegedly taking cash from representatives of a fictitious company.  Explain that this sting operation was allegedly done by Matthew Samuel of the Narada News Portal.

 In March 2017, the Kolkata High Court ordered a CBI inquiry into the sting operation.  However, the names of these 4 leaders were revealed in this sting, which was today called by the CBI for questioning.  Explain that apart from these leaders, the names of many leaders who have joined the BJP have also appeared.
